The Married Life

So, I guess now that Im married I should have a blog.. Facebook gets boring, my Husband and I have completely different schedules, so I figure this will keep me entertained sometimes!

I guess I will start this off by Telling you about Mike and I. We met when we were in 9th grade. Dated all through high school. After high school Mike went on a mission to Alaska and Loved it! While Mike was on his mission I was going to school, working, and...trying to figure things out. Haha we can put it that way. Mike got home from his mission 8 months ago! When he got home we had a lot of things to figure out but we did. He proposed to me and now we are married!!! We got married August 10,2012 in the Mount Timpanogos Temple. We had an amazing day and are so thankful for everyone who came and supported us on our special day. The Temple was full of scaffolding and all sorts of construction. Everyone would ask if I cared or how I felt about it, and honestly It didn't really bug me. Yeah of course I would have loved to have the temple looking normal and not orange for pictures, but I was just SO excited for the ceremony and what would take place inside the temple that day. The ceremony was amazing and the most beautiful thing I have ever taken place in. The feeling in that very moment is the most incredible feeling and so hard to describe.  Mike and I often talk about that moment and how amazing it was. After the ceremony nothing else mattered. I didn't care if anything went wrong, or if something happened I was just so happy to Finally be sealed to my best friend and to start life together.
Mike and I went on our honeymoon to mexico on a cruise. We had so much fun on the cruise. We loved not doing anything, not having any responsibilities, and just enjoying the sun and being together. We had so much fun and wish we could go back!! (we will for sure one day!)

So now mike and I are living in Salt Lake in a tiny little apartment. We love it! It is so fun to be off on our own and living life together and figuring things out together. I think my favorite part about it all is that we do things together! I love working with him as a team. We make a good team. We always have ever since I met him we just have worked so well together. Anyways, we love where we live. Mike was blessed to find a job as a Phlebotomist Orderly In the Hospital up here. (IMC) He really loves it and its been a great blessing for us. I work at Costa Vida in a American Fork...yeah its a drive...Not loving it but Its what works for us right now. Mike and I are both at SLCC Im in a Medical Assisting Program and will be done in December! Thank goodness then I say Bye To Costa finally!! I really cant wait for something new and something closer to my house! Mike is just taking all his classes that he needs so he can apply for Med school. So we have a lot of schooling to look forward to but we are excited for the future and what it will bring us.

I think that is pretty much it for now. Today is our 2 month anniversary!! haha. I could not be more blessed to have him as my husband. I truly love him so much and everyday is such a blessing.
